Jun 29, 2024
The common structures of shredders are mainly double-axis (or four-axis) shearing type, single-axis roller cutting type and tearing type for coarse shredding.
(1) Shearing shredder
The most common is the shearing shredder, which has two to four blade shafts and mainly relies on the principle of "shearing and cutting" to complete the shredding process. The principle of this shredder is to shred objects like scissors.
(2) Roller cutting shredder
Figure 1 shows the structure of a roller cutting shredder. The machine is equipped with multiple blades on a rotating blade roller, which form a cross-cut with the fixed blade to complete the material shredding effect.
(3) Tearing coarse shredder
The principle of the tearing coarse shredder is to swing the hook to tear the garbage material. This type of machine is mainly used for coarse shredding.
